torch parade!

so on my way to the usa house this morning my bus literally became part of the parade, it was pretty sweet. i got dropped off at my stop to join the masses and i took tons of pictures and video. i hope i can get it all on here for you to see :)

the house has officially opened and it's pretty quiet right now, but will soon be filling up! i'm stationed at the acer aspire zone, which is on the 2nd floor and right where everyone one can come up to eat and hang out. that's what the USA house is really all about, lounging. it's a place where athletes can come to get away from the crowds and relax. i've included some pictures above. also, it's closed to the public because we are one of three countries that's not funded by the government, but public sponsors...such as acer, mcdonald's, coke, polo, nike, and several other. we aren't allowed to wear puma, reebok, or even mention blackberry! oh and there are pringles all over the place because they are owned by proctor & gamble and they are a HUGE sponsor for this house! ah the way of the corporate world...anyway, back to my job here, which is to checkout laptops and be a tech guru for the interwebs! this works well so i can always be on a computer and writing to you :P

hope you all are enjoying the opening ceremonies and cheering on TEAM USA!!!
