these are the top 5 things to know about vancouver...
1. vancouverites live for the great outdoors! the mayor bikes to work, stanley park is larger than central park, and there are 3 huge ski resorts - grouse, cypress, and whistler. scuba diving is also huge during the winter - crazy!!
2. good eats! ocean wise and multi-cultural, 2nd largest china town in north america, also a great market place at the granville island market. (being a pescatarian, i'm looking forward to some delicious seafood while i'm there!)
3. hollywood of the north! 1 billion a year is spend iron man, twilight, and percy jackson were recently shot there!
4. comfortable fashions - fleece and gortex are their main fabrics. the weather is mild and always changing so it's important to always have a change of shoes.
5. lounging late night - a night out typically ends earlier in the night, and is more about relaxing with friends and enjoying great food and wine! sounds good to me :)
